Stick War: Legacy is a battlefield combat game. First popularized by a series of Flash games, stick man games have become all the rage. With their simple aesthetic designs, they allow creators with limited art teams to build off interesting concepts, and Stick War: Legacy offers a streamlined approach to warfare that resonates well, putting the fundamental game play elements over everything else.

This game plays out like a real time strategy game reduced to its most fundamental elements. Players have access to five kinds of units, each with their own strengths and weaknesses that play out as a complicated variation of rock, paper, scissors. Battles play out on a two dimensional side scrolling landscape, as your forces amass against the opposition. Mining gold allows you to bolster your army, which is a necessity as you throw your armies against increasingly challenging threats.

The dedicated campaign mode tasks you with conquering all the nations of the world and requires a nice balance of resource and unit management. Once the campaign is finished, an additional survival mode called Endless Deads allows you to keep playing the game into perpetuity. The Endless Deads mode is complemented with comic book style visual narration.
